Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a neurological condition that can affect people in many ways, and to different degrees. At the MS Therapy Centre, you will find a wide range of information, support and therapy sessions that are constructed to make life better for those affected by MS in any way.
Oxygen Therapy is a medical use of oxygen at an increased level of pressure. OT raises the levels of oxygen in the body's blood plasma which leads to higher amounts of oxygen being delivered to the body's tissues, organs and brain.
Physiotherapy has been shown to help sustain mobility and independence, and improve long term employability prospects.
In our physiotherapy area we have: Motorised exercise bike, Vibroplate, Parallel bars and many other pieces!
FES is most often used to manage a dropped foot, which can help to improve walking pattern, and reduce the energy required in walking.
Exercise is a vital ingredient in the specialised self-management service we offer. This complements the traditional hands on work.
